Responsibilities

  • 1. Orchestrate Digitalization Governance to align investments, funding and initiatives to business strategy and priorities and to DTS technology roadmap. Identify, formulate and design the necessary transformation initiatives through excellent negotiation and consulting skills.
  • 2. Based on objectives/strategies agreed with business partners, build the Digitalization portfolio, define, implement and manage business and DTS roles leveraging Lean Portfolio Management, integrate technology needs and requirements in alignment with business strategic directions, cascade down the commonly agreed portfolio within the relevant organizations.
  • 3. Create compelling business cases that clearly state business impact / value and process changes from system deployments. Focus on business outcomes, define concrete goals, and link metrics to strategic goals - so that positive differences in business performance is measured and tracked.
  • 4. Be accountable for opportunity assessments, secure the approval, capacity and budget required to start pre-project, drive Project Preparation Plan (PPP) and produce required deliverables according to existing framework, ensure appropriate alignment of new initiatives to business strategic themes following Lean Portfolio Management methodology.
  • 5. Propose, evangelize, collect, and qualify new DTS collaboration opportunities with business partners & drive the adjustment of DTS Portfolio based on agreed priorities. Support LTP and budget processes accordingly. Inject hyperautomation capabilities (automation, low code, process mining, GAI...) by design in digitalization initiatives.
  • 6. Define the implementation strategy and lead the execution & governance of digitalization projects through the different phases - mobilization, kick off, design, build, test, go live, hypercare - and their different dimensions - processes, people, data, technology, governance. Own the project management methodology and best practices for transformation.
  • 7. Focus on business outcomes, define concrete goals, and link metrics to strategic goals so that increased value and positive differences in business performance are measured and tracked.
  • 8. Assure the digitalization initiatives of the portfolio are delivered on time, on scope and on budget, manage deliverables, planning, budget, risks, issues, contingency plans, change management, etc. Secure consistency and alignment within overall digitalization roadmap.
  • 9. Be the conductor of the stakeholders involved in the execution of the digitalization initiatives, showing the way and synchronizing the different players (business stakeholders, solutions teams, enterprise architects, process, data and change management specialists, vendors, contractors, consulting firms, etc.).
  • 10. Propose and implement improvements and better ways of working across DTS and with business partners to industrialize or reuse in execution. Evangelize teams incorporating lessons learnt, best market practices and past experiences of other Transformation Programs.
  • 11. Act as the Digital & Transformation Services (DTS) main point of contact of Business and Functional Units stakeholders including top leadership and SLT (Senior Leadership Team), ensuring strategic intents are met and being the advocate of the services that DTS delivers.
  • 12. Identify key stakeholders and define a relationship plan, make it a live asset to discuss & align within DTS.
  • 13. Own strategic relationship for each business stakeholder, develop deep knowledge of business strategy, processes, products, and organization, build trusted and reliable partnership foster relationship and alignment.
  • 14. Ensure exit criteria are met for program/project closure, secure operating model, budget and processes for maintenance and evolutions, assure transition to business as usual in agreement with business stakeholders and within DTS, assure visibility of the projects and the recognition of project’s contributors.
  • 15. In partnership with business partners, establish the mechanisms and governance to measure process adherence and overall adoption, metrics-driven accountability (e.g. through process mining), benefits realization, user satisfaction and value realization. Identify post implementation potential gaps. Shape the resolution / remediation initiatives which will be funneled back into pre-sales stage.
  • 16. Drive lessons learnt from each project to feed best practices and industrialized methodologies, identify opportunities to improve, do better, quicker, and cheaper.
  • 17. Responsible for 45-50 permanent internal resources cross multiple sites, plus 200+ external resources assigned to transformation initiatives. Manage resource assignment, allocating the right profiles to the corresponding initiatives according to the level of required seniority for the project execution and / or acumen (business and/or technical). Coordinate team efforts within the various digitalization portfolios and connected initiatives.
  • 18. Responsible to set team vision, mission and objectives in alignment with company and DTS strategy.
  • 19. Responsible for people development and growth including but not limited to the setting of team and individual objectives and measurement criteria, assessment, personal development, identification of promotion and/or lateral moves, bonus and salary review.
  • 20. Responsible for leading a Business Process Innovation team, which enable transformation through consulting and change management skills to increase value delivered to business partners through technology and optimized practices and business processes.
  • 21. Responsible for leading a Data Management team that enables transformation by looking at end-to-end data model consistency from governance, process and technical standpoint.
  • 22. Responsible for leading the Transformation Delivery Office which defines and owns the methodology and practices needed to guarantee the end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives leveraging SAFe / Agile / Waterfall practices.
