Responsibilities

  • Work with the Electrical Engineering hardware team to provide PCB design services.
  • Work with PCB design subcontractors through all the subcontracting activities: subcontractor selection, documentation issue, placement and routing reviews, design acceptance.
  • Work with the Mechanical Engineering hardware team to design to fit into enclosures for integration into units.
  • Work with Manufacturing to determine best practices for quality production.
  • Provide all required documentation such as layout, routing, symbol and footprint creation, generation of Gerber files, assembly drawings and other required PCB fabrication files from inception through release.
  • For projects and assignments: ensure that services and products delivered to customer meet their requirements.
  • Interface with the areas of design, production, EEE, Material & Processes, Engineering, Testing, Quality Assurance.
