Requirements

  • - Extensive experience in driven commercial growth from new / scaled up business areas. Optimally you have experience growing similar businesses at scale.
  • - Hands-on ecommerce trading experience coupled with broader end-to-end experiences (e.g. logistics, technology, marketing etc.)
  • - The ability to think, act & communicate strategically – but also with the skillset to “dive deep” and follow through on structured problem solving.
  • - Experience from a multinational organization with proven abilities to overcome barriers and find solutions to challenges limiting growth.
  • - Global experience & experience leading a team.
  • - Strong stakeholder management skills, with the abilities to build new relations & build connections with a shared purpose in mind. You will be working closely with stakeholders within the LEGO.com team but also outside such as regional teams, Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Operations, Logistics, Insights etc.
  • - Experience with physical stores is an advantage! (as our GC business spans across LEGO.com & physical stores)

Responsibilities

  • - Drive growth of key business areas on LEGO.com Pick-a-Brick, LEGO Gift Cards & License products (e.g. books, backpacks, fashion, storage etc.). These areas represent a significant opportunity to excite shoppers & differentiate LEGO.com from other online retailers and constitutes a sizeable commercial opportunity. You will be responsible for the global business, across AMS, EMEA & APAC. In addition to online sales, you will also oversee sales of LEGO Gift-Cards in physical retail.
  • - Drive campaign & commercial activation incl. campaigns, digital marketing, performance review, trading & commercial mitigations.
  • - Lead an energized team of experts within each business area. Support, nurture & challenge the team in building strong future plans as well as maximizing short-term opportunities.
  • - Work end-to-end to improve processes and prepare for future growth.
  • - Refine & evolve the growth formula; deepen the understanding of our shoppers, sharpen the value proposition, and ensure the right marketing setup.
  • - Proactive identify & capture synergies between the areas within the team and their link to the “core” business of brick-based sets.
  • - Champion an insight led, shopper centric and commercial culture.
