The company

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering group with an annual turnover of over £100 million, who offer specialised electrical solutions to many big-name clients across the UK. After securing several long-term contracts with key customers, the company is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join their team based in Birmingham.

The role

The company is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical projects and maintenance activities, leading a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to achieve project goals. This role has a 40 hour week with the opportunity for overtime.

You Will Take Responsibility For


 * Lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance for successful project execution
 * Oversee electrical projects, ensuring completion within budget and timeline constraints, and coordinate with stakeholders
 * Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, safety measures, and address concerns
 * Conduct safety training, inspect work sites for hazards, and investigate/report accidents promptly
 * Supervise small to medium-sized contracts, manage day work jobs, arrange labour and materials, and handle basic estimating and tendering duties
   
   

What You Need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:


 * Experience working within the Manufacturing and Industrial sector
 * Level 3 C&G Qualified
 * Proven experience as an electrician or electrical supervisor
 * Strong leadership and communication skills
 * In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components
 * Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
