What are the working hours for this position?
The working hours for this position are 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:30.
What qualifications do I need to apply for the Electrical Technician position?
Applicants must be a time served electrician, have completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship, hold the IET 18th Ed Wiring Regs qualification, and be qualified to SVQ/HNC level (or be currently working towards this qualification) with a minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience.
Is experience in a healthcare environment required?
While not mandatory, it is preferred for candidates to have some experience working within a healthcare environment.
Will I need any specific certifications to be considered for the role?
A current, valid ECS/SJIB card is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will also be required to complete training to be appointed as a Competent Person (Low Voltage).
Will I receive training for cross-discipline work?
Yes, all cross-discipline training will be provided as required to ensure a high standard of service across various building services.
