Requirements

  • We’re looking for someone with experience in an HR, employee relations or employment law role.
  • You’ll have the ability to deliver and advise on statutory processes and procedures, so good communication skills will be key.
  • You'll also need the ability to weigh up pros and cons of different options to make well informed decisions with the needs of clients in mind.
  • Additionally you’ll have strong administration, IT and research skills.
  • A qualification in employment law or HR would be an advantage, although this is not essential as you'll receive thorough training while in your role.
  • You’ll also need:
  • The ability to work at pace to meet deadlines and solve difficult issues while maintaining the quality of work
  • A background of supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the ACAS code of practice on disciplinary and grievance, statutory employment law, employee relations, HR and best practice
  • The ability to build effective and trusted partnerships with clients, as well as to deal with clients from multiple channels and sectors
  • High standards of attention to detail and client service

Responsibilities

  • Responding to reactive customer HR Employment Law queries in a timely manner in a contact centre environment
  • Managing your time to maximise your availability for customer interactions
  • Contribute to identify needs and generating income
