Requirements

  • High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline is preferred.
  • Two to three (2-3) years of total work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides operational support for the preparation and maintenance of tax records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.
  • Supports the coordination of tax-related regulatory filings. Gathers required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings. Provides status updates on progress of data collection.
  • Implements system and operational modifications to comply with more straightforward regulatory changes. Updates tax forms and information return layouts.
  • Performs first-level quality assurance of tax deliverables for more complex clients in accordance with department policies.
  • Tracks data needed for tax calculations. Reviews work of junior team members, resolves data discrepancies and escalates issues to more senior team members.
  • Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. No direct reports.
