Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Willingness to perform field work
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • A previous internship related to your field of study
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role

  • Based out of the St. Louis office you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets, and create technical reports documenting completed activities and results
