  • Team and safety-focused, possessing a solution-based work approach
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment with a “no task is too small” attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and work collaboratively with internal team members and client facility stakeholders
  • Already reside within commuting distance of our Atlanta office is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We’re looking for an entry-level Geologist to work on complex site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients. Based in Atlanta Georgia, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of experienced engineers, geologists, and consulting staff on a variety of field and office tasks related to planning and implementing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
  • You’ll learn from other experienced staff who are ready to mentor you and gain valuable field experience with environmental sampling techniques and subcontractor oversight, spending about 70 to 90% of your time in the field. You’ll balance your field work with some time spent in the office working on data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, report writing, and coordinating field work. Safety will be your priority, as you contribute to “incident free” operations and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety in everything you do.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to help create a more sustainable world by ensuring environmental compliance, environmental management, and health and safety while working on diverse projects.
