Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Civil engineering or related field from an accredited program, university, or college. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working in a team environment
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation

  • As our infrastructure ages and the world population increases, Jacobs’ worldwide staff of professionals use new technology and expertise to develop innovative solutions to address future transportation demand. Coupled with today’s challenge to decarbonize our planet and fund projects, our people are engaged with a variety of creative projects to implement these innovative solutions.
  • We are looking for an Entry Level Systems Engineer to join our New England Systems and Technology Group of about 17 systems engineers and designers and industry specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience. As our newest team member, you’ll play a supporting role in the development of plans, specifications and cost estimates for security, video surveillance, public address, data and telecommunications, intelligent transportation systems, and other systems engineering work tasks. Candidate will attend site visits that include commercial, railroad, transit, highway, and airport locations, client and internal meetings, meetings with vendors and manufacturers.
