Requirements

  • Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in computer science or engineering.
  • 3+ years of hands on C# development experience (encompassing both front-end and back-end development).
  • Strong understanding on OOPs concept, Design patterns and Multithreading programming experience.
  • Understanding and experience of relational database technologies e.g. SQL Server, IBM DB etc.
  • Understanding and experience of messaging protocols e.g. Solace, Tibco.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight delivery timeline while keeping good quality
  • Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Equity Derivatives / Structured Products.
  • Web technologies - React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux, Observables, Electron.
  • Understanding of KDB/q

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development and roll-out of EMEA related development tasks.
  • Work with BA/PM or end users to gather and review user requirements, provide suggestions on design and enhancements.
  • Follow global development/change management standards to deliver quality enhancements/solutions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in development, code reviews and post mortem activities within global team.
  • Provide L3 support for the existing application.
  • Be a good team player to ensure a cohesive culture to effectively solve local/global business problems while building a strategic platform for Global Equities.
