Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in at least one software language, ideally Python but others are acceptable.

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, RESTful APIs and experience securing service-oriented, asynchronous, and distributed application architectures

Responsibilities

  • ESG Reporting:
  • Support execution and publication of corporate reporting
  • Contribute to the planning, project management, and process development to enable corporate reporting
  • Collaborate with business unit ESG teams and other subject matter experts throughout the firm to develop report content
  • Support coordination of compliance readiness to ensure corporate reporting strategy, content, and infrastructure is in place to meet emerging global regulations (e.g. TCFD, IFRS, CSRD)
  • Maintain working knowledge of voluntary ESG standards and frameworks and how the ESG reporting industry is evolving
  • Climate:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and information for climate reporting purposes
  • Support the coordination and execution of firm-wide climate initiatives, including Blackstone’s Decarbonization Accelerator
  • Conduct research and stay updated on emerging climate-related regulations, frameworks, and reporting guidelines
  • Support efforts to prepare content, data, and information for climate-related reports, such as TCFD, GHG Emissions, SEC Climate Rule
