What kind of events will I be managing in this role?
In this role, you will be managing a variety of events including internal town halls, client-facing events, panel discussions, high-end roundtable dinners, virtual events, and employee engagement events.
What are the key responsibilities of an Events Manager in this role?
Your key responsibilities will include organizing all aspects of event logistics, managing client databases and tracking event metrics, coordinating attendees and guest lists, producing post-event analysis, creating event collateral, and overseeing best practice for all events.
What skills and experience are required for this position?
You should have experience managing both online and in-person events in a corporate b2b environment, knowledge of virtual event platforms, strong administration skills, excellent communication skills, an interest in current affairs and global trends, experience with social media management, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Will I need to work flexible hours in this role?
Yes, there may be some evening work or early mornings required for events, but time off in lieu (TOIL) will be provided to balance out any additional hours worked.
What regions will I be supporting as an Events Manager in this role?
You will primarily be supporting events in the UK market, as well as providing expertise and best practices to other EMEA markets including Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Middle East.
