Requirements

  • Master’s Degree OR professional designation (i.e. CA, CFA, PMP) preferred
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant work experience
  • For some rotations, coding experience (i.e. SAS SQL, Python) and/or knowledge of Power BI and Tableau is an asset
  • Experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, analytics, or project management is an asset
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in working in a Financial Institution
  • Not required, but Spanish speaking is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Lead and develop strategy and effectiveness projects that solve business problems
  • Collaborate with business lines, delivery channels, and support areas to identify and drive initiatives
  • Contribute to the business development of new products and/or enhancements based on market analysis
  • Work closely with senior management and a diverse set of stakeholders to drive client-focused strategies
  • Provide innovative ideas and solutions to create new opportunities to build Scotiabank’s value proposition and grow client relationships.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, and its Code of Conduct, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment
  • Recommend and executes data-driven changes to portfolio-specific strategies and policy treatments
  • Actively work on initiatives and strategies that deal with data, technology, governance, reporting, policies and procedures, analytics and so much more
