Requirements

  • A relevant Acoustics related degree / qualification.
  • At least one year of Environmental Acoustics related Consultancy experience – candidates will not be considered without prior consultancy experience.
  • Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better.
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress.
  • A problem solver with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A highly organised individual, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work and react calmly and proactively in a range of situations.
  • The ability to work well within a team and work individually.
  • Right to Work and live in the UK.
  • A clean UK driving licence and willingness to drive for work purposes. Your own car or access to a car (with business insurance) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • You will get involved in specialist technical work such as noise & vibration onsite monitoring, modelling, analysis and reporting.
  • You will be involved in Environmental Acoustics projects from day one and will have the opportunity to work on projects from proposal stage through to completion.
  • You will help support our clients on projects both locally and throughout the UK as required, finding commercial solutions to complex environmental issues.
  • You will work on many different types of projects, including new road and rail schemes, new residential settlements, high-rise city centre buildings, retail developments, renewable energy projects, and commercial / industrial developments.
  • You will be an integral part of our Acoustics & Air Quality Service at BWB and may also have the opportunity to work on air quality projects if desired.
  • You will have the opportunity to get involved in Environment Group and BWB initiatives.
