Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support to implement Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Analytics plans to identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs and provide data that is accurate, congruent, reliable and in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies.
  • Developing and maintaining complex cost models and cost exposure models.
  • Cost mapping expert delves deeper to produce actionable insights and recommendations for a large internal stakeholders community including sourcing managers, category specialists, regional and country management across business units.
  • Translate cost modelling / cost exposure mapping insights into actionable strategies that improve allocation of resources, forecasting and budgeting and overall procurement efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain complex and flexible cost and cost exposure models for various product categories and services, ensuring accuracy and relevance to current market conditions as well as business development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for cost modelling, to validate results and implement the feedback.
  • Create and implement relevant procurement KPIs to measure performance against prices development and market conditions.
  • Design and produce comprehensive dashboards and reports, utilizing data visualization tools to present complex information in an easily digestible format.
  • Analyse and interpret cost models and cost exposure models reporting and elaborate recommendations for action.
  • Develop and maintain predictive cost models and cost exposure models to forecast future spend patterns and trends by leveraging internal and external data and closely collaborating with internal stakeholders to align the results and develop actions catalogue.
  • Development and implementation of strategies that measurably impact the achievement of business results within the global procurement function (indexing, introduction of cost splits and forecasts, implementation, and execution of structured category and or regional exposure mapping processes).
  • Comprehensive analysis of internal and external market and price data, data visualization as well as assessment of the relevancy and value for the procurement organization.
  • Utilization of data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights from internal and external data sources.
  • Development and maintenance of complex predictive cost models and cost exposure models to track spend dynamics and forecast future spend patterns, ensure their flexibility and accuracy.
  • Identification and development of new opportunities for business units, categories, and regions to leverage cost modelling and cost exposure mapping for strategic advantage.
  • Development and implementation of relevant reporting which enable recommendation for actions.
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders across procurement organization (including sourcing specialists, category managers, and other members of the market intelligence team) as well as with external data providers to ensure the accuracy, constant improvement of cost exposure models as well as of the regular reporting.
  • Compilation of presentations and reports to communicate complex cost modelling and cost exposure mapping findings to stakeholders across the procurement organization.
  • Visualization of cost exposure models results by means of PowerBI and other relevant tools.
  • Supporting category management in identifying business improvement opportunities by means of analysing large datasets that can be internal, external, or market-related.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, cost modelling methodologies, and procurement best practices.
