What is the Finance Career Foundation Program (FCFP) at Boeing?
The Finance Career Foundation Program is a 2-year rotational program designed to accelerate early career finance professionals through hands-on experience in various finance roles at Boeing's U.S. production sites.
When does the program start for new participants?
New participants will join the FCFP each July, with the next cohort starting in July 2025.
What does the rotation schedule look like within the FCFP?
Participants will spend their first 12 months at one site and then physically relocate twice in six-month increments through company-sponsored relocation, allowing them to gain experience across different Boeing locations.
Where are the rotational sites located?
Rotations may take place at Boeing sites in Washington, Missouri, Arizona, Pennsylvania, California, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas, as part of the program.
What types of roles might participants have during their rotations?
Participants may work in roles such as Commercial Product Development Estimator, Procurement Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst for Government Satellites, and Financial Analyst for military programs, among others.
What kind of training and mentorship is offered in the program?
Participants will attend five in-person development weeks at various Boeing sites, receive mentorship from Finance leaders, and learn directly from industry experts to enhance their professional development.
What are the basic qualifications required to apply for the program?
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Business-Related Field by June 2025, as well as demonstrated leadership experience through internships, volunteer activities, or university clubs.
Are there preferred qualifications for applicants to the FCFP?
Yes, a preferred overall GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale and work or unpaid experience in fields such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or Financial Planning are desired.
Is relocation required during the program?
Yes, selected candidates must relocate to their starting location and participate in company-sponsored relocations for each second-year rotation to foster relationships with peers and teammates.
