Responsibilities

  • Our Finance teams deliver an incredibly wide range of technical services to our clients all over the country. You could be a part of one of our largest facilities management contracts, where we work in partnership with some of the UK’s biggest hospitals, universities, and schools. Alternatively, you could be helping to mobilise one of our newest contract wins. A life in Finance is never dull and as a graduate you will gain experience of what it takes to manage large, diverse teams in a fun and rewarding industry.
  • You will have a passion for putting the customer first, working in teams and constantly looking to improve and innovate. Over the course of your graduate scheme, you will gain an understanding of how we support our customers and how to deliver innovative solutions to our communities and clients.
  • As a finance graduate you will rotate across different areas of the business to build your financial knowledge and work towards becoming chartered. You will do 3 or 4 rotations over the 2-year scheme – this could include time in our Shared Service Centre in either Newcastle, Haywards Heath or Wath upon Deane developing your technical finance skills, and with our Central Finance team working on Pricing and Modelling and Financial Planning & Analysis. You will also spend at least 6 months on site with one of our operational teams to understand the way our teams work so you can make an impact in your role. At the end of the scheme, you could become a junior finance business partner before moving to finance business partner upon qualifying.
  • We will provide a wide variety of training opportunities to develop your operational knowledge, leadership, and management skills so that you can excel in your role. You will also be able to start your CIMA or ACCA qualification via an apprenticeship while on the scheme. From day one you will have a buddy, usually a graduate in the year above, and you will also have a mentor throughout the scheme.
