Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile transaction level data between various databases (e.g. Subledger to General Ledger) using an automated reconciliation tool
  • Own monthly reconciliations of General Ledger accounts and investigate bugs and discrepancies
  • Create adjustment journals to remediate the discrepancies by writing ad-hoc SQL queries and testing results for correctness and accuracy
  • Perform technical month-end close processes to assist the accounting team with close
  • Assist with FinTech test closes to UAT the feature releases
  • Assist with all types of audits
  • Identify gaps in FinTech’s processes and reconciliations and work towards fixing them
  • Capitalize on opportunities for automation and increase self-service solutions across financial reporting and organizational tooling. Collaborate with engineering teams on the design and implement those solutions
  • Develop relationships with and knowledge of different Payment Services Providers
