Responsibilities

  • Completes face-to-face visits and psycho-social assessments for the Senior Justice Assessment Center (SJAC) clients.
  • Coordinates and facilitates all forensic examinations, capacity assessments, physical exams, and others as needed.
  • Prepares and maintains comprehensive, accurate, and timely case documentation and enters it into EMS.
  • Makes referrals to social services agencies and completes Crime Victims Compensation (CVC) applications.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with investigative case workers, law enforcement officers, attorneys, physician, and other team members to ensure a collaborative investigation and victim restoration process are met.
  • Provides ongoing case coordination
  • Attends local, regional and national trainings to maintain current knowledge of best practices and latest research on elder abuse.
  • Other duties as assigned.
