What are the main responsibilities of the Front Office Agent position?
The main responsibilities include Check-In and Check-Out of guests, handling the telephone system, processing guest requests during their stay, managing guest correspondence, accepting and processing reservations in the absence of the Reservations Department, managing cash reports and daily closures, upselling room categories and other services, and working independently at the reception.
Is prior experience in the hotel industry required for this position?
While prior experience as a Front Office Agent is ideal, it is not mandatory. A completed hotel training program is preferred but not strictly required.
