 The team you’ll be working with: Screening Team
 The team is building a robust control framework to ensure the entire Wise product portfolio is covered with essential screening checks and prevent onboarding of sanctioned individuals, organisations and politically exposed people. We ensure that associated risks are thoroughly mitigated and that controls are functioning effectively.
 
 We are scaling our operations team and developing solutions to support them, ensuring that alerts are accurately checked and fully auditable. We are enhancing the customer experience, making it easy and convenient for customers to provide the necessary information and documents.
 
 In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our compliance teams to understand the specific checks required, the optimal timing to run those and methods for implementation. Moreover, you will work hand-in-hand with our regional and growth teams to support their onboarding processes with FinCrime and screening solutions, ensuring smooth and efficient integration across all regions.

 What does it take?
 <ul>
 <li> You have 4+ years of Java 8+ knowledge, experience with Spring framework and microservice best practices</li>
 <li> You have 2+ years of React knowledge or experience with another modern frontend framework</li>
 <li> A strong product mindset, you prioritise work with the customers and operational teams in mind and make data-driven decisions</li>
 <li> Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience</li>
 <li> Experience working with relational databases, query optimisation and designing schemas</li>
 <li> You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development</li>
 <li> Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems</li>
 <li> Hands on knowledge of system integration patterns</li>
 <li> You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback</li>
 </ul>
