Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the operational budget of approximately $100 million+
  • Set clear goals for safety, customer experience and productivity, and successfully deliver on them.
  • Create an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within the fulfillment center by embracing new technology and ideas from the fulfillment center team.
  • Support the scalable growth of the company by developing and enabling the success of each member of the leadership team.
  • Engage associates to leverage Lean/Six Sigma tools and concepts to reduce waste and drive process-improvement.
  • Drive the quality of individual standard-work to ensure critical quality and safety practices are followed.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with upstream and downstream customers/suppliers, including FC’s, air hubs, sort centers, and delivery stations.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with support teams, including corporate-based support, HR, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, Loss Prevention, Learning & Development (L&D), IT and Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME).
  • Recommend policies and programs to ensure the organization’s competitive position and the profitability of the operation. Facilitate on-time shipping and product availability to meet quality standards and cost objectives.
