Responsibilities

  • The post-holder will work closely under the direction of the Surgery Consultants and Specialist Registrar Trainees with duties to include day-to-day inpatient care, operating with and assisting senior team members in theatre.
  • The post holder will cover specialities such as Upper GI, Endocrine, Bariatrics and Colorectal.
  • The post holder will be encouraged to participate in professional development activities and clinical governance programmes including audit.
  • The post holder will also provide support and leadership to more junior staff on the team.
  • The post holder will participate in a surgical oncall rota.
