What is the duration of the summer camps?
The Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 9, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
What are the required working hours for the Site Director position?
The Site Director position requires a commitment of approximately eight hours per day, Monday through Friday, for a total of 10 weeks.
Is prior coaching experience necessary for this role?
Yes, prior experience coaching and/or playing baseball or softball at a high school level or higher is required.
What qualifications are needed to apply for the Site Director position?
Candidates should have experience managing a group of people, be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball, and have experience working with children ages 4-13.

Yes, the Site Director may need to drive a rented cargo van, and you should have reliable transportation and a safe space to park it.

Yes, the Site Director must ensure a safe camp environment for all campers and be acutely aware of both physical and emotional safety.
What is the pay range for this position?
The weekly pay range for the Site Director position is between $1,320 and $1,500, based on skill level and experience.

Where are the camp locations?
Camp locations include Millbrae (Taylor Middle School), Redwood City (Red Morton Park), Los Gatos/Saratoga (Easterbrook Discovery School), Napa (Justin-Siena High School), and several others throughout the Bay Area.
What does the interview process entail?
After submitting your application, you will complete a one-way interview, a 15-minute virtual interview with the MLB Camps Director, followed by a 20-minute interview with the Executive Director, before the final decision is made.
