Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned Global Product Portfolio and Its Performance: Oversee sales, profit, market share, and brand strength for the assigned sub-category across global markets, ensuring alignment with overall category objectives.
  • Support the Development of Global Product Strategies and Roadmaps: Collaborate with the Sub-Category Manager to develop and implement strategies that ensure global competitiveness and customer relevance.
  • Maintain a Competitive Global Product Portfolio: Manage the product portfolio to ensure it is lean, competitive, and aligned with global and regional market needs.
  • Assist in Executing the Product Lifecycle Process: Support adherence to the product lifecycle process from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Maintain an Outside-In Viewpoint: Stay informed about global market and customer trends to provide insights that inform product decisions.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) Exercises: Gather and analyze customer feedback from global markets, maintaining a relevant and up-to-date market view.
  • Monitor Global Product Sales and Margins: Track product performance globally, identifying and implementing actions to close performance gaps and drive profitability.
  • Support Pricing Strategy Development: Assist in optimizing pricing strategies globally to maximize market penetration and profitability.
  • Contribute to Innovation Efforts: Participate in innovation initiatives to ensure successful product launches within the product lines.
  • Ensure Sales Team Readiness: Provide sales teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell and support the product portfolio.
