Responsibilities

  • Our Water & Environment business addresses environmental and sustainability objectives and engages with communities to understand what really matters. While we shape some of the very largest and most complex landmark projects in the UK, we also delivery local projects that protect communities. We support with the environment and make social and natural capital central to how we solve our clients’ objectives. We are helping to create the sustainable and resilient cities and communities of the future, making attractive places for all to live and work.  The archaeology and heritage team provide specialist support and advice to clients and our aim is to assist them achieving their aims within a cost effective and resilient timeframe. We advise our clients on best practice approaches to the archaeological and historic environment and steer projects through the often-complex planning and legislative frameworks. 
  • Our team specialises in infrastructure in the UK and Europe, providing technical expertise in all areas of heritage and archaeology both as part of the Environmental Assessment and consenting process, and as a standalone specialist service for clients such as HS2, Highways England, Network Rail, the Environment Agency and many more.  We are at the forefront of developing best practice and pragmatic approaches to the delivery of assessments of the historic environment, heritage statements and Scheduled monument/listed building consents as well as the design and procurement of archaeological field work and supervision, and provision of heritage and archaeological advice. 
  • We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Archaeologist to join our team in Leeds to contribute to the production of archaeological and heritage assessment work, heritage statements and planning/consenting deliverables, the collation and management of archaeological data.
