Requirements

  • We are looking for a flexible and motivated graduate with a genuine passion for learning and professional growth, to apply for this role you will anticipate achieving a 2:1 or above in a degree relative to mechanical engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc) and must have a strong interest in the Water sector.
  • We are looking for a graduate with the following characteristics:
  • Methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing

Responsibilities

  • Prepare outline and detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations.
  • Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the commercial and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design stages, construction and beyond.
  • Preparation of documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments
  • You will positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims.
