Requirements

  • The role of Graduate Development Surveyor is great for you if you have:
  • Have a RICS accredited BSc in Real Estate or related subject.
  • Graduated within the past two years or due to graduate in 2024.
  • UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • As a Graduate Development Surveyor, you'll be working within our Kier Property Team assisting the development team in the evaluation and acquisition of sites. Appraising opportunities including the management of the development appraisal throughout the bidding process. You will be attending site inspections/site progress meetings with Project Managers and Development Managers.
  • Assisting the team in undertaking due diligence by completion of a pre-purchase checklist and management of a risk register arising from the pre-site investigation.
  • Supporting the Development Manager with all aspects of development projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist with the delivery of the scheme exit strategy for development disposal.
  • Effectively establish, manage, and maintain positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Work closely with Development Managers and legal advisors to negotiate and progress leases and acquisition/sales contracts.
  • Actively monitoring and reporting on onsite health and safety whilst embracing the Kier Corporate responsibility agenda and support team in achieving its goals.
