Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited university
Demonstrable interest in engineering design related to electrical engineering projects
Internships with a consulting engineering industry preferred but not required
Methodical approach to problem solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
Wonderful written communication and attention to detail, with an ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Familiar with AutoCAD software is preferred
Must be open to travel at select times to perform on site visits

Responsibilities

Successfully completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Possess an engineering education suitable for future licensure as a professional engineer
Internships within the consulting engineering industry preferred but not required
A strong desire to be part of a cohesive team
A genuine interest in engineering design related to Electrical Engineering
Strong interpersonal skills Effective oral and written communication skills and a self-starter
EIT Preferred but not required (Required within the first year of employment)
Familiar with AutoCAD software is preferred
Must be open to travel at select times to perform site visits

As an Electrical engineer, you will support the delivery of major infrastructure projects which may include:
The design and construction of Natural Gas Pipeline Facilities
The design of Compressor Stations with large electrical motors
The design of Industrial Petrochemical processes
