What is the primary focus of the Graduate Engineer, Transportation - Roadway position?
The primary focus is on maintaining and improving Minnesota’s infrastructure through the design and support of a variety of roadway and municipal projects.
What kind of projects will I be working on in this role?
You will work on projects that include roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning for both urban and rural roadways.
What are the required qualifications for this position?
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent and 2 - 5 years of experience in transportation and/or municipal engineering projects, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What are the work hours and environment like?
Graduate Engineers are encouraged to work in-office 4 days a week when starting, transitioning to a flexible 3/2 hybrid model once they are comfortable managing their expectations.

Yes, travel may be necessary for project-related needs such as community meetings, feasibility study data collection, or construction oversight within the Twin Cities Metro area.
