Requirements

  • Accepted Degrees: BSc / MSc Ergonomics and Human Factors
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • You will be graduating in 2024 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
  • Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
  • Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects

Responsibilities

  • Human Factors: Become part of our People Centred Design Team. Working across different sectors (including nuclear, rail, mobility, oil and gas, financial institutes, and local government) you will join an expert Team made up of Human Factors and Inclusive Design specialists who advise clients on people-centred design issues to meet user needs, standards and regulatory requirements. As a member of the People Centred Design Team, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects to develop your technical human factors skills and understand people issues within a variety of different industries, whilst working towards your Chartership of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF).
