Location: Reading - Theale&nbsp;Due to continuing growth, Ridge and Partners are now looking for a talented Graduate M&amp;E Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Reading - Theale.&nbsp;About the Role:<ul><li>As a Graduate M&amp;E Quantity Surveyor, based in Reading, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a wide range of M&amp;E quantity surveying services under the direction of a Team Manager. You will be working on projects including large industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to smaller schemes and working in interesting sectors including; healthcare, insurance, government sites, etc.</li></ul>Role and Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals</li><li>Advise on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed</li><li>Advise on implications of different construction methods, materials etc</li><li>Provide assistance with the undertaking of pre and post contract work for both End User Clients and Contractors / Sub-Contractors</li><li>Working on energy reduction and sustainability innovations and roll outs</li><li>Experience and Skills Required</li></ul>To be successful at Ridge you will need to demonstrate the desire and drive to becoming Chartered.
