  • To be considered for this 2024 position, you’ll need:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or related engineering disciplines, from an accredited university​
  • Demonstrable interest in one or more of the following project types: pipelines, compression, or metering facilities, transmission, gathering, midstream, or treatment facilities through relevant experience, such as your field of study, internships, volunteering, or relevant association memberships​
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members​
  • Wonderful written communication and attention to detail, with an ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing​
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred​
  • Superb understanding of relevant technologies, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.

Responsibilities

  • With guidance from a professional engineer, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
  • Manage and perform engineering and design execution, planning, and interface to confirm that activities are completed on schedule and within the budget.
  • Prepare project execution and quality plans, projects plan of works, initial projects safety review, initial project environmental review, and project control system.
  • Coordinate with project managers, discipline engineers, designers, drafters and field staff, to collect and evaluate data, make engineering recommendations and ensure consistency in execution of project activities.
  • Organize and conduct project meetings, including technical and progress reviews.
  • Initiate and complete projects close-out and archiving
  • Actively participating in our Early Careers Professional Network
