  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling techniques, with a strong foundation in mathematical principles, acquired through a first-class honors or postgraduate degree in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge in sports betting and bookmaking, coupled with a keen enthusiasm for sports, providing valuable insight into the industry and its dynamics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges, coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of results and solutions.
  • Technical acumen, including proficiency in statistical programming languages like R or Python, general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL) and cloud technologies (preferably AWS). Prior experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) is also advantageous, along with a track record of building mathematical models in a professional setting.
