Requirements

  • A keen interest in how buildings work and a pro-active approach to working with engineers is essential in order to provide accurate and useful drawings.
  • Some knowledge or appreciation of the BIM process and standards utilised.
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
  • 5 GCSE’s at grade C or Higher. (Maths & Sciences B) + some work experience & A Levels/ BTEC in related subject

Responsibilities

  • Gaining knowledge of MEP systems and their design in detail
  • Developing skills in Revit
  • Detailed understanding of BIM and what its process involves
  • Developing knowledge of relevant standards such ISO19650 and BSRIA BG/6
  • Working in accordance with company processes
  • Creating detailed MEP drawings From RIBA Stage 2 through to Stage 4
  • Collaborating with engineers and external design team members to create clash free models relevant to the design stage

During the programme, you will work on real live projects, carry out tasks, attend technical and non-technical education sessions, and receive individualized training tailored to your strengths and weaknesses.

Do I need prior experience with Revit software to apply for this role?

While prior experience with Revit software is beneficial, it is not a requirement. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about sustainable building design and willing to learn and grow in the role.
