Requirements

  • Accepted Degrees: BEng/MEng/MSc Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Water Resources, Engineering Hydrology
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • You will be graduating in 2024 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)

Responsibilities

  • Our Sustainable Drainage Networks Team is comprised of experts in hydraulic network modelling, urban drainage design, flood risk assessment, and hydrological modelling, providing value driven expertise both within the UK and internationally. We work across numerous industry sectors such as wastewater, flood risk management, highways, and rail, for clients including Thames Water, the Greater London Authority and HS2, plus many more internationally.
  • We deliver projects ranging from urban growth studies and sustainable drainage master planning to detailed design schemes and wastewater network optimisation, employing complex integrated modelling platforms and big data analytics. You would become a critical component in the development of next generation hydraulic network models and innovative water solutions to help solve the most complex issues for our clients.
