Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Series Designer:
  • Design and produce content and artwork to high creative and editorial standards with adherence to BBC guidelines
  • Produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms including Adobe Creative Cloud, as well using technical and freehand drawing and painting skills
  • Develop and create assets such as signage, posters, artwork, packaging, books, newspapers, logos and branding
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments and positively manage relationships, prioritising tasks and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines
  • Advise on clearance and rights and ensure all material produced and broadcast is legally compliant
  • Ensure content reflects our diverse audiences and be accountable for the usability and accessibility of design deliveries for the broadest possible cross-section of users
  • Keep up to date with emerging industry trends
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and creativity
