Requirements

  • We are looking final year undergraduates or recent graduates with less than two years’ experience in any degree discipline who enjoy working with both people and numbers.
  • Communication skills: Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents.
  • Planning & organising skills: Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Client-focused rotation:
  • Working closely with contract teams to carry out operational finance related activities such as invoice pool management, WIP tracking, and performance reporting at a contract level. Building detailed operational knowledge of reporting and financial systems
  • Core-finance rotation:
  • Developing expertise in key finance reporting processes such as month-end reporting and key financial controls such as posting journals and performing reconciliations.
  • Advanced Accountancy:
  • The final year rotation focuses on more advanced accountancy skills such as performance analysis, issue resolution, project support and forecasting.
  • Throughout the programme, you’ll pursue the ACA Level 7 Apprenticeship qualification. Study leave is provided for college attendance, and you will be supported by the Next Generation Learning & Development team and a dedicated Skills Coach to ensure that all aspects of the apprenticeship and ACA qualification are completed.
