Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
  • 5+ years NPI experience shipping hardware in volume.
  • 2+ years experience in designing and manufacturing camera products.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and establish relationships with strategic vendors spanning silicon and optics, staying up to date and influencing component roadmap and emerging technologies.
  • Perform research and prototype new products for proof-of-concept studies.
  • Define and architect new hardware products in collaboration with product, design, and mechanical engineering teams.
  • Lead JDM teams to efficiently and effectively execute and complete programs.
  • Lead architecture and component selection of critical components including but not limited to SOC, lens, and image sensor.
  • Own end-to-end product development including product requirements, schematic capture, placement, layout, module assembly, system integration, factory test, and validation.
  • Establish and document best practices for design, component selection, and product architecture.
