Requirements

  • This role is only for New Graduate candidates, graduating with their MBA or MS in Engineering in Spring/Summer 2024
  • At least 1-3 years experience in a product management role, with exposure to hardware development prior to returning for their graduate degree
  • Technical fluency and familiarity with hardware and embedded systems development processes. Can establish credibility with engineers and is willing to get hands-on
  • Knack for gleaning customer insights from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers, partners, and internal audiences
  • An ideal candidate has:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical fields
  • Experience with automotive or enterprise vision and/or camera solutions
  • Familiarity with B2B sales processes

Responsibilities

  • Analyze support cases, market data, customer feedback, and inputs from other product team members to deliver a multi-quarter roadmap for fleet diagnostics capabilities
  • Partner closely with firmware and hardware engineering teams to define and deliver reliable Safety solution and accessories
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
