Requirements

  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in global HR CoEs, with a strong background in topics such as learning and development, running and developing leadership and talent programmes etc.
  • Ability to navigate a global organisation, and quickly build relationships within the team and beyond, with significant stakeholder management experience
  • Strong language skills
  • A background in innovative learning solutions and traditional learning approaches, with a sound understanding of progressive learning trends and technology.
  • Experience taking topics from ideation to executive proposals to a functioning strategy at pace, and guiding its implementation across a global organisation
  • Excellent presentation skills (authoring and presenting) are a major plus

Responsibilities

  • Understand the organisation’s business strategy and design an appropriate learning and development architecture to support it.
  • Lead and develop a team of consultants, working collaboratively with other teams and vendors to support and implement a fit-for-purpose L&D strategy at Swiss Re. Redesign, standardize, and continually improve our existing learning portfolios, programs and standards, including leadership development.
  • Influence, govern, and optimize large-scale decentralized learning programs across the organisation, focusing on consulting during strategic business transformations and the technical and non-technical capabilities derived from them, Develop a fit-for-purpose upskilling and reskilling strategy for the organisation, collaborating with our broader team and other areas such as Strategic People Planning, while drawing on industry best practices.
  • Review and improve our approach to managing learning needs, our learning infrastructure, and our learning delivery to ensure that we embed learning in the flow of work for our people and have the desired return on investment and business impact.
  • Work with our broader team to re-design career development and growth, and ensure that we have the best technology solutions to support a seamless learning experience for our people.
