Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing the strategy and roadmap for biometrics transformation, including biometrics portfolio analysis 2.0
  • Conceptualize and offer quantifiable business-value-first actuarial insights, including our data pooling strategy, to internal and external stakeholders along the whole (re)insurance value chain by using statistical methods
  • Implement and augment operations, reusability, and automation of biometrics and actuarial analysis processes
  • Plan, coordinate and lead experience studies in the life and health reinsurance sector. This includes collecting, cleaning, and analysing data related to disability, mortality, among other lines of business. Identify new trends, and emerging risks to support pricing, reserving, and underwriting decisions.
  • Support the regional head of risk intelligence and knowledge systems with data integration projects, acting as a sparring partner, analysing, structuring and providing portfolio data sent by cedents (e.g. BPA in Germany) for horizontal data integration, among others.
  • Participate and cooperate in projects driving evolution of our broader infrastructure, being single point of contact for biometric related requirements and associated local implementation.
  • Provide leadership to a team of actuarial experts. Organize operative tasks, planning resources, and providing guidance to the team regarding overarching biometrics topics as well as innovation and marketing activities
  • Cooperate and support regional departments projects with biometric expertise delivery, to capture biometrics knowledge in graphs, and develop supporting pipelines to enable broader graph usage (and underlying biometrics data) as a transparent self-service knowledge source. Sustain and evolve the developed domain ontologies.
  • Turn insights into quantifiable value generation through identifying opportunities for improving existing reinsurance solutions and developing new products, and acting as an interface towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide training and support to employees on actuarial progress and best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally across the MUC Hub, and with our clients to identify relevant biometric analysis requirements and to define and execute on customer specific goals for risk understanding for various lines of business
  • Establish and maintain robust compliance and governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with industry regulations
