Requirements

  • Numerous years of relevant experience in business analytics, business intelligence, within consulting, tech, consumer goods/services or similar industries
  • Strong commercial acumen - able to understand what drives disproportionate impact to the business, and challenge stakeholders using data and commercial / operational knowledge where appropriate
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity within a fast-paced environment
  • Proven expertise in data strategy development and presenting analyses to executives and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability in managing, mentoring, and developing teams fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, data-driven, and logical mindset
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in data extraction and cleaning exercises, and familiar with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker
  • Proficient English language skills are essential
  • German language skills are nice to have, not essential

Responsibilities

  • Develop a data strategy for Lieferando to enable top and bottom line growth and optimise customer experience for Germany
  • Break down strategy to an actionable roadmap and drive its execution with the rest of the data team
  • Foster a data culture throughout the business, by providing the right tools and analysis for decision making, education and change management
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team and other cross-functional departments across sales, marketing, finance and logistics, to agree and track progress against key KPIs
  • Monitor business performance, proactively perform strategic analyses and present actionable insights to executive level audience
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled BI professionals and analysts
