Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Partnerships team on National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) relationship across levels [*this is a key relationship for GPay, being a network and Quasi regulator*]. Partner with Banks across levels and UPI Technology Service Providers (TSP).
  • Lead initiatives on Internationalization of UPI and other NPCI/Platform Initiatives. Incubate and potentially lead new areas of business on payments and Financial Services.
  • Lead GPay’s relationship [in partnership with GAPP & Legal] in the wider ecosystem including RBI, MEITY, MoF, UADAI, State Governments and other Govt/ Quasi Govt bodies and associations such IAMAI, PCI, CII and FICCI.
  • Engage with Frontend active/reactive with these bodies and create alignment and advocacy for efforts, respond to incoming asks to create alignment.
  • Drive advocacy for key regulatory alignment, and stakeholder management with key regulators and industry bodies.
