The primary purpose of the Health & Safety Advisor role is to provide management, guidance, and expertise in all QHSE matters for the Client and their business across four UK sites, while developing a QHSE compliance strategy and improving performance.
Where is the location of the job?
The job is located on the Client site, preferably based in the South East, between the North Hampshire and South Berkshire border.
What are the main responsibilities of the Health & Safety Advisor?
Main responsibilities include implementing the QHSE strategy, developing business plans and objectives, ensuring compliance with policies, conducting risk management activities, leading QHSE meetings, and providing training and reports to the Client.
Do I need to have formal qualifications to apply?
Yes, a formal management qualification in Health & Safety and Environmental management is required, alongside relevant experience and membership of IIRSM or IOSH at a Diploma level.
Is travel required for this position?
Yes, the role requires travel across the UK to various locations such as Edinburgh, Telford, Winnersh, and Fleet, with occasional overnight stays.
