The main focus is to provide support and assist Registered Nurses in delivering all aspects of healthcare directly to patients on the Acute Medical floor, while maintaining a suitable environment for care.

You will receive a robust training program, including a 2-week academy Healthcare program prior to starting in the department, as well as further training and education to progress your career.

Yes, there is a permanent position available as well as a 6-month secondment position.
What are some key responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant in this role?
Key responsibilities include supporting patients with hygiene needs, maintaining elimination needs, assisting in pressure area care, providing nutritional and hydration support, accurately recording patient observations, and escorting patients as needed.
