What are the primary responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant on the Acute Floor?
The primary responsibilities include providing support for patients' hygiene, elimination, pressure area care, nutritional and hydration needs, accurately undertaking and recording patient observations, escorting patients, and providing clinical administrative support to Registered Nurses.
Is prior experience required for the Healthcare Assistant role?
While prior experience in a healthcare setting may be beneficial, the role offers a robust training program, including a two-week academy Healthcare program for those new to the position.
