  • You will support the ward nursing team to provide care for our patients including hygiene needs, provision of personal care, assistance with taking diet and fluids, checking of basic observations.
  • You will need to work well as part of a team and have good communication skills and a caring nature.
  • You will need to be a keen, calm, motivated and a conscientious individual with a good sense of humour, and be able to show sensitivity in dealing with patients and their relatives who are facing cancer treatment and may sometimes be distressed as a result.
  • You will be required to work on an internal rotation working day, night and weekend shifts. All shifts are 12.5 hours in length.
  • We can consider set working patterns, and set working days set days off with negotiation.
