Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the site HR Business Partner to drive site initiatives and objectives.
  • Facilitate onboarding/offboarding employees, including facilitation of onsite orientations for new and transferring employees.
  • Direct site employees to appropriate HR resources.
  • Develop solid relationships with HR Centers of Excellence partners (e.g. Discover Onboarding, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR technology, Recruiting)
  • Strong engagement with HR LRL Team to drive HR project work, task assignments, and Workday HR reporting of metrics/analytics.
  • Ensure site is aligned with California Employment Laws including posters, practices and other legal requirements.
  • Provide HR related support for the site student programs, including internships, apprenticeships, career fairs, etc.
  • Exhibit strong confidentiality practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and notable ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
  • Must be capable of thriving under pressure, effectively managing tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and maintaining high standards.
